If you haven’t seen our solar installation video, this is the brand name we went with on our RV roof installation. We were lucky and got these things on amazon when they were on sale, however so far they seem to be holding up great.
The main reason we went with these flat panels rather than the more traditional panels is because you can actually walk on these flat panels. Our RV doesn’t have a whole lot of room to maneuver on only being 21ft long, so it seemed logical to leave some space to walk.
Another advantage of these flat panels is that they basically blend in with your roof and don’t cause any extra drag. I highly doubt the traditional bulky panels could hurt a RV too much considering they are mostly giant blocks going down the road…but ever little bit helps.
I will try to keep this post updated as we continue to use these panels in the future to see how they hold up.
