Triple C’s Campground and RV Park Review
Triple C’s Campground and RV Park is located about 30-40 minutes west of Tallahassee right off of I10 and I gotta say, we enjoyed our stay here.
It is a beautiful wooded campground, even if the scenery is a bit of an eye sore due to the hurricane that recently passed through. Luckily this isn’t something that lasts forever and even gave them an opportunity to start laser leveling their sites.

Amenities:
As I said, this campground is very conveniently located off of I10 so whether you are looking for a short term or long term stay, this place is right around the corner.
Biggest disadvantage of this area is that there really aren’t many store around to stock up on supplies. There are some smaller grocery stores nearby, but Tallahassee definitely has the most options.
Triple C’s Campground has ALL pull through sites, so no need to worry about backing into a tight spot between trees here. We had no issues getting in or out of our spot.
There is also a large dog park to let your dog off leash and stretch its legs, along with a basketball hoop, a swimming pool, place to fill up your propane, and a dump station in case you are coming in from a location without sewer. Don’t forget to get your laundry done and take a nice long hot shower while you are at it!
Discounts:
Good Sams is also good at this particular park and they also offer discounts for first responders and seniors. Also like many RV parks, you do get discounts if staying for a week, or a month.

Noise Level:
Quiet and peaceful. Minus the fact that they are working on expanding the place a bit it seems, it was relatively quiet during our stay. They did replace our electric box without any prior notification to our stay, so that caught us off guard while trying to work during the week.
Dog Friendly?
This park is very dog friendly, at least Blaze enjoyed his stay here. There is a HUGE dog park, one of the largest we have seen at a campground and plenty of place for the pups to get their exercise.
Big Rig Friendly?
Yes. All the sites are pull-through and there are plenty of spots big enough for your 40′ rigs. If you are towing along with your big rig, you may have to park sideways or park in their parking lot depending on the spot you get.
Cell Signal and Wifi:
If you are digital nomads like we are, cell signal is crucial. AT&T was a great performer at this park having great download and upload speeds. Verizon was kind of iffy, but it might be ok for lower data intensive tasks.
Things to Do in the Area:
There are quite a few outdoorsy things to do in the area, but unfortunately when we were passing through they were still closed due to the hurricane.
We ended up heading over to Alfred B Maclay Gardens State Park in Tallahassee and had a bunch of fun. Not a ton of hiking at the park, but what it lacks in hiking it makes up in beauty!
