On this adventure, we went to Sherwood Island State Park in Connecticut…on our anniversary! Many people like to go to fancy dinners and give each other expensive gifts on their anniversaries, but not us! Our gift is getting out into nature and exploring!
It helps when you have some delicious food to take picnicking as well! It wasn’t the MOST beautiful day in the world when we headed over, but it was still great walking along the beach and enjoying the elbow room. We were able to explore the entire park before the rain shooed us away. We will definitely have to come back here sometime when its a tad warmer and bring some swim suits!
