It actually took me quite a while to figure out what type of breaker to get. There are both AC and DC breakers and there are also different types of each. I mainly decided to go with this kind of circuit breaker between the solar panels and the charger controller(click here to watch the solar install video if you are curious) and the charger controller to battery because it was small and easy to work with.
There might be some better solutions out there, but it appears to be getting the job done…granted it hasn’t been tripped yet so a bit hard to tell :).
