I just simply love this camera. End of review. Seriously though, if you have kept up with our videos this has been our main camera to take hiking/kayaking just because it is so flipping easy to carry around.
Besides the fact that it is extremely portable, it is also waterproof, and it is one tough camera. Just check out this youtube video where this guy purposely drops the camera from his drone to test its durability. Once I saw this video I was pretty much sold.
Oh, and did I mention it takes incredible footage? Check out this playlist from our trip to Yosemite if you need some examples. ALL of this video footage was shot using this little dinky camera in 1080p. We didn’t even use the 4k option (mainly because I don’t own a single 4k display yet)!
As we progress as YouTube channel/vlog we may end up purchasing something with a zoom capability as that is the only real thing missing from this camera for our use. Until then I will continue to use this camera LONG TIME until it eventually dies from overuse :).
I use a couple of these SanDisk Micro SD cards with the GoPro. You definitely want to do your research on what SD cards you use because they aren’t universal. The GoPro will require a certain speed in order to write data properly.
