Five Great Hikes In Connecticut Volume 1
After hiking all over Connecticut, Deanna and I decided to put a short list of five great hikes in Connecticut that we think are GRRRREAT!
First I recommend on watching the main video at the top of this post, then I will go into a bit more detail on each of these hiking locations that we really enjoyed. 🙂 As mentioned in the video, these locations are listed in no particular order because we loved them all!
STEEP ROCK PRESERVE

PEOPLES STATE FOREST

KENT FALLS STATE PARK

Features:
- 250 ft total of waterfall (yeah, that’s right)
- Great open picnic area
- Gorgeous Covered Bridge
- Path along entire stretch of the waterfalls

MINE HILL PRESERVE

Roxbury, Connecticut
Features:
- Historic Ruins of the old mining area
- “Bat Cages” that cover the mine chutes
