We love this place so much that we had to come back. Back when we lived in New York we used to kayak all along the Hudson River. This is a cool spot because the current isn’t very strong from the river and there is plenty of room to explore.
If you come during low tide you can actually find little islands as they appear in Croton Bay.
Also, if you don’t have kayaks we noticed they were renting some out towards the docking area where you launch your boat. The boat launch is called “Echo boat launch” and here are the GPS coordinates: 41.184540, -73.879682
